Oh? You didn’t like those last ten I gave you? You want ten more reasons to attend? OK. We aim to please.

Here are ten more reasons to attend the East Coast A cappella Summit March 7-9 2008!

1) Your group gets a one-on-one coaching, saving you big bucks and increasing your chances of doing everything from winning your next competition to finishing your next show with a standing ovation.

2) Find out how to win CARAs and kick butt on RARB reviews. Conquer the a cappella world.

3) Marty Gasper teaches you how to sound like a drum instead of a Tourette’s sufferer; you joyfully spit on your friends and they love you for it.

4) Bill Hare and Freddie Feldman save you so much time and money in the studio you throw wads of cash at them in gratitude.

5) Jonathan Minkoff, Esq. (me) explains the legal rights you and your group absolutely need to know keeping you out of court and out of jail and just as importantly, on good terms with your fellow singers.

6) Shhhhhhh our auction is silent and it has great stuff from arrangements to vocal coachings to group performances to jewelry!

7) Blue Jupiter gives a performance so hot, that you consider leaving your SO and following them around on their world tour. Plus they spill the beans on what it takes to go pro.

8) Diana Preisler calls on her Broadway experience to enhance your stage presence and you believe everything she says because you’ve heard her voice on so many commercial voiceovers that you’re conditioned to obey.

9) Professor Jeremy Ragsdale teaches you the mysterious language of scat and you become so fluent you decide to abandon English altogether.

10) Your ticket only costs a paltry 50ish dollars (www.casa.org/tickets) for the whole weekend and all proceeds go to charity: promoting the art of a cappella and helping fund the choral music program at our host school. You sleep well knowing you did so much good and had so much fun at the same time.

11) You know you have soul, but somehow you can’t find the right notes to express it. Let Chris Chatham help you with a pocketful of hot R&B licks that you can pull out anytime to spice up your big solo.

12) You realize that organizing things in groups of ten isn’t all its cracked up to be, and return to the reverie of your once-in-lifetime memories from the 2008 Summit.
