Each year the current CASA Board of Directors and Jonathan Minkoff choose a committee to determine which applications will be successful. Not only is it enriching to learn more about the group of individuals that will be judging applications, but it's also essential to avoid conflicts of interest.
People or entities that have a conflict of interest are called "prohibited persons" or "disallowed persons". The following entities are prohibited persons:
A member of CASA’s current Board of Directors
A member of the current Jonathan A. Minkoff A cappella Award Committee
The immediate family of anyone on CASA’s current Board of Directors The immediate family of Jonathan A. Minkoff, (or a Successor Founder)
The immediate family of any of the current members of the Award Committee,
Any organization in which any of the aforementioned entities owns a for-profit financial interest.
