“Bringing art music forward to a hip, modern sensibility” (The Whole Note)

“The irrepressible Juice Vocal Ensemble – an all-female trio of astonishing variety, spark and brilliance – is proof that the sap is still rising in classical music.” (The Observer)

“The 21st century’s answer to the Swingles or the King’s Singers”(The Times) juice are at the forefront of the UK’s experimental/classical scene, performing a unique mix of incredible sounds from Central African-inspired riffs to vocal percussion, ethereal harmonies to rumbling drones. Joining the dots between classical, jazz, pop, folk and electronica, their edgy performances pulse with a sense of theatre and a love of words. They have featured on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour, BBC Radio 3, Classic FM and WNYC. They have performed at London’s most prestigious concert halls including the Wigmore Hall, South Bank, King’s Place and the Roundhouse. In 2011, they made their US debut with concerts in New York and at the famed SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas. Now they are back to perform works from their debut album ‘Songspin’ (Best Contemporary Classical Album 2012, Independent Music Awards) and to promote their second album, ‘Laid Bare’.
