Unless you're new to campus or have been living under a rock for the past six months, you've probably heard about On the Rocks' version of Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance," which went viral in April and now has more than seven million views on YouTube.
And just like any other Friday afternoon, more than 200 people crowded into the EMU Amphitheater last week to watch the University's men's a cappella choir perform. But this time, baritone Alex Horwitch had a special announcement.
This December, the members of last year's On the Rocks will be on the NBC reality show "The Sing-Off," competing against nine other a cappella groups from across the country for a prize of $100,000 and a recording contract from Sony Music.
