
The Contemporary A Cappella Society (CASA) is looking for a talented, driven individual to manage its Communications team as a member of the 2012 Board of Directors. The Director of Communications is an elected volunteer position, and the term of service is one (1) year. This Director manages a team of three individuals: Social Media Manager, Email Campaign Manager, and Marketing Manager.
Strong candidates will have all the following qualifications:
- Experience with and knowledge of nonprofit database management
- Electronic digital marketing experience (email campaigns, audience segmentation, A/B testing, reporting)
- Proficiency with social media technology (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Wordpress)
- At least one year in a management position
- A commitment to and passion for contemporary a cappella music
- Understanding of marketing research to serve new and under-reached demographics
- Ability to conceive, develop, and implement strategic online outreach vision
- A keen eye for web user experience
This position's term begins on January 1, 2012 and is eligible for re-appointment. The Director of Communications reports to the CASA President and the board as a whole.
