Arlington-based a cappella group Pentatonix returned to the city Sunday to play at the Levitt Pavilion for the first time. Their performance was one of four that helped kick off the Texas Power 2012 fall concert series weekend.
Watching the band's recorded songs online, I admit it: I had my doubts. I was hesitant to believe it was possible to make such rich, instrumental-sounding noise with only natural vocals. Pentatonix blew me away: It's a band that sounds as good live as they do recorded in a studio.
