The First ever international Namibian A Cappella music festival hosted by local A Cappella giants, VMSIX, turned out to be a huge success with an overwhelming attendance.

The First ever international Namibian A Cappella music festival hosted by local A Cappella giants, VMSIX, turned out to be a huge success with an overwhelming attendance.

The festival kicked off with a two day music workshop which saw at least 200 A Cappella music ensembles and choirs take part in the music workshop, with the hope of learning a few music tricks from the world renowned, Rajaton.

The show on Saturday saw over 400 A Cappella lovers flock to the Safari Hotel to see VMSIX and Rajaton perform.

VMSIX soprano, Peter Chizyuka, said that although they hoped for a huge turn-out, the attendance for both the workshop and the performance far exceeded the group's expectations.

Rajaton Soprano, Esi Wuorela said that she was very impressed with the outcome of the workshop and was happy to see how passion driven the musicians were.
