“I am woman”…or at least that’s what they’ve been singing.
Musae is a dedicated group of 6 amazing women who have come together with the purpose of proving that female a cappella is a force to be reckoned with. Each member brings their own unique personality and voice to the group. Hailing from different locations all over the country, they’ve got quite the eclectic mix. Ranging from badass latina, to girl next door, they’ve got it all covered. In just the past few months, they’ve managed to gain the attention from some of the a cappella communities’ most respected authorities. Not to mention, some of the groups’ members most recent collegiate CDs earned several CARA nominations. This collective effort to push away from the female a cappella stereotype needs to be applauded and supported as they begin their journey.
Musae is keeping their fingers crossed right now, because at this very moment they are becoming hours closer to the end of their Kickstarter project. The project ends next Sunday, July 24th, and aims to raise enough funds for Musae to go on tour and create a CD that will keep fans begging for more.
