When did you first become involved in a cappella? In what capacity?  1999, freshman year at Boston College.  Part of the first class of the Boston College Dynamics

When did you first become involved with CASA? In 2010, when I decided to find a contemporary a cappella group to join in the Raleigh, NC area.

What area do you cover as a CASA ambassador? North Carolina

What role do you play as a CASA ambassador and/or what role would you like to play?  I'm so new to the game and just learning the ropes right now.  I am trying to publicize all the great shows happening in our region and making initial contact with the groups here.  There is a ton of great collegiate a cappella here.  I would like to help bridge the gap between collegiate and post-collegiate a cappella and maybe develop a some local programs for groups to share and learn together.

What do you do for work and play?  My "job" is taking care of my four children, James (5), Isabella (4), Samantha (2), and Alexander (1.)  For fun, helped found a new CAL group, "Cognitive Resonance," which just had its debut at VoCAL Nation last month.  I am also chairperson of a mom's community group in Wake Forest and sit on the advisory board of my son's school.

Tell us one thing about yourself people would be surprised to learn.  I used to be completely absorbed in the fast-paced New York City lifestyle.

Favorite a cappella group?
SONOS!!

Favorite type of music?  Classical

Favorite a cappella concert?  Professional Showcase, SoJam 2010 (Sonos and Basix - holy cow!!!)

Anything you'd like the CASA readership to know about your area?  There is aca-fruit ripe for the picking here!  There is so much talent in this region.  College groups, aca-life DOES NOT end after college.  Check out the CAL groups here!  =)

Wow, Jennifer!  Four kids five and under, and you have the energy to do all this!  I can't tell you how much I admire you!  Impressive for sure!
