Join us for Kol HaOlam, the first ever National Collegiate Jewish A Cappella Competition, a historic event in the nation’s capital -- at Adas Israel Congregation, Washington, DC [Metro accessible].

A cappella music is sweeping the country. Thanks to popular TV shows like Glee, Sing Off, and American Idol, it is now cool to be a singer and hip to go without accompaniment. Each year, more high schools and colleges boast a cappella groups and more groups challenge each other in national competitions.  But in the Jewish world, there has never been a national a cappella competition . . . until now!  With over 50 active Jewish collegiate a cappella groups around the country, picking an institution with a group was simple. In fact, with the level of excitement about a cappella today, it seemed that even colleges without a one would consider a startup.
