  • Core Team Sponsorship Manager

    Sponsorship is a crucial component of the CASA festival budget. This program connects CASA with companies that are willing to provide financial compensation for exposure to festival participants both live and online.

    This manager is responsible for overseeing all local festival sponsorship coordinators to ensure that financial goals are consistently met. This program manager is also responsible for identifying and soliciting high level sponsors that span multiple festivals. This includes rate card development, prospective sponsor identification and solicitation, sponsorship fulfillment and payment management with the Director of Finance.

    This position reports to: Director of Events and Director of Development

    Recurring and Regular Tasks
    Daily Tasks

    • Check and respond to CASA email.
    • Check and respond to all sponsorship related email and calls

    Weekly Tasks

    • Connect with team sponsorship coordinators to ensure they are meeting sponsorship goals
    • Participate in all festival conference calls
    • Ensure appropriate steps are being taken to fulfill obligations to sponsors 

    Monthly Tasks

    • Submit Monthly check in to Director by 1st day of the month via email or phone
    • Hold 2 monthy best practice calls with all festival sponsorship coordinators
    • Update top 25 list for high level sponsors
    • Oversee team sponsorship coordinators creation and updating of top 25 lists for each festival

    Required Experience 

    The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

    • Demonstrated experience in customer service and/or sales 
    • 1 year or more of supervisory experience
    • Experience with contemporary a cappella
    • Ability to work remotely, often via email and phone, as a member of a team
    • Ability to devote a minimum of 5 hours per week to the position
    • Ability to answer emails daily
    • Ability to participate in several weekly and monthly conference calls.

    Additional preferred qualifications:

    • Familiarity or experience working with a non-profit organization
    • Demonstrated experience working on a virtual team for long-term projects
