King's Singers Record New CD

In June, the Kings Singers joined forces with the ensemble Sarband to record Sacred Voices, an album of Muslim, Christian and Jewish psalms. It sounds magic, and will be released by Harmonia Mundi in the USA, and Signum records everywhere else in early autumn. The programme will tour the United States this fall, the Kings Singers report on their website.

Sean Altman Breaks His "Losing Streak" With New CD

Sean Altman has released "Losing Streak" -- his 22-song collection of live recordings from the Loser's Lounge tribute series, including sprightly renditions of songs by Costello, Queen, Bowie, McCartney, Fleetwood Mac, The Monkees, Burt Bacharach, ABBA, The Bee Gees, Van Morrison, The Beach Boys, Elvis, Simon & Garfunkel, Devo, Van Morrison and The Zombies; duets with David Yazbek, Connie Petruk, Nick Danger and Sue Kersch; and four acapella performances featuring Sean & The Losertones.

Toxic Audio Releases "Word of Mouth"

After the success of three independently produced albums, Toxic Audio is back with a new recording label and a brand new CD.

Released March 22, "Word of Mouth" includes some of the best a cappella jazz, rock and pop selections from Toxic Audio's three previously recorded albums, as well as six new tracks. The release is Toxic Audio's first with New York City-based DRG Records, which signed the group in January.
