Hi! I'm really new in the domain of chorus singing. I'm going to create a new girl trio group with rhythm section spanning from Andrews Sisters to fiftie's. I've found in the internet a LOT of arrangements to buy for SSA, but I wonder: the arrangements made for choir will work for a trio as well?
Can anyone help me?
Thanks!
Paolo

In general, yes. If an arrangement is listed as "SSA" it means there are no splits and no more than 3 parts are needed.
in reality, a number of the published SSA arrangements out there are for beginning level girls choirs, and feature lots of unisons and passages where the piano/band/CD plays without singing.
If you find a song you'd like to do, I recommend you buy it, learn it, and augment it as needed. Certainly easier than starting from scratch, and an octavo is generally very reasonably priced.

Do you know a good place where I can buy professional SSA arrangements?
