My Name is Jelani Connally and im a Dayton Navtie who is looking to get back in to a cappella.I come from a very strong musical background through my father who is also so a member of the dayton group TOUCH, wrote songs for micheal Jackson and the Jackson 5, My uncle who was a member of lakeside and another who is a memeber of the Dayton group ACT 5. I myself was in a Dayton singing group called Emaje for six years and I did ventues such as the Dayton Dragons, Black Cultural Festival, and the final Fly City Festival. I am also a graduate of Tiffin University and Alum of the Award winning a cappella group Up In The Up where I was an award winning vocal percussionist and Tenor for the group. Currently Im doing a cappella Arrangments for schools, writing jingles and other musical projects. Right now im looking to get back on stage and perform on a more full time basis and also learn more about music and become a better vocalist and percussionist. I would be honored to talk with anyone about the opportunity of possilby performing with a group and or just feed back and other a cappella opportunities.
