I'm interested in starting a 5-7 member make a cappella group in Boston. This isn't as much a notice to announce auditions as much as it is to get an idea of the level of interest in such a group.

I've recently left college and had been part of an a cappella group there for all 4 undergrad years and the 1 grad year. I have experience arranging, directing, and booking gigs and consider myself a bari/tenor. I'm really interested in creating a group to have a good time singing and performing in and around the Boston area, however I'd want the group to have as tight a sound as possible and to be taken fairly seriously by its members.

I am out of college and prefer that anyone interested also be. I say this simply because the college and non-college worlds are quite different (as I've recently realized). Anyone interested must have past experience singing. An a cappella background is obviously a plus.

Please contact me if you are interested (scobban@gmail.com). Tell me a bit about yourself such as singing history, experience in a cappella (including any arranging/percussion/directing/etc skills), voice part, why you're interested in the group, and anything else you feel is/isn't relevant.

Thanks
