New Group Searching for Tenors in the Denver/Boulder Area for a Quasi-Serious Group.

We are a laid back group of guys who meet once or twice a week as schedules allow. We primarily sing contemporary a cappella and have ambitions to compete in the Harmony Sweeps next year.

We are looking for tenors who have some experience singing a cappella (preferably at least at the college level). We are looking primarily for high tenors, but open to any other talented voices. Arranging and instrumental skills are always welcome but not required. Ability to read music strongly encouraged, but not mandatory.

Auditions will include testing vocal range, oral recall, and pulling a note out of a chord. We will also ask you to sing a couple songs. We will ask you sing either 'God Bless America' or 'My Country ‘tis of Thee' (just a song that everybody knows) and then a song of your choosing to showcase your solo talents (your signature karaoke song; verse and chorus).

We hope to build a group to perform around town when and where we can, including on Pearl Street in Boulder and 16th Street in Denver. As mentioned, we have a goal to perform at Sweeps next year.

We are a group of guys who sang in college. We appreciate hard work, but we like to have a good time as well.
