I will be moving to either Toronto or Kingston, Ontario soon and was wondering if there are any singers in and around there that are not Barbershoppers (I am already one of those)that would be interested in starting up a contemporary group?

I have been looking to start a group or become a member of one for years now with no success. So, if there is anyone out there near either of those two places who are interested..please message me on here and for people who need my vocal specs...

Hey KC, if you're not successful starting up a group in Toronto, then you may want to look into the collegiate groups. U of T opens its extracurrics groups up to members of the community (for a fee) and we frequently have older members join.

I was interested in your posting. I am in Vancouver, B.C. and am trying to get a quartet together for doo wop, contemporary, and barbershop. I have been singing in a barbershop chorus for two years. I'm afraid I can't help you with your quest, but if you happen to know of anyone in Vancouver who might be interested, let me know.

I'm very interested! I'm in Toronto and have been trying to start a group myself. I was in a barbershop chorus and quartet for 5 years and am now interested in doing more contemporary a cappella.
