If you’re a first soprano or a baritone, and you love ensemble singing, BlueLine wants to hear you!
Formed in fall 1999, BlueLine is a semi-professional sextet that performs close harmony arrangements of jazz standards, pop tunes and gospel songs. We pride ourselves on being a fun and energetic group that brings a high level of musicianship and entertainment to audiences throughout the greater Washington DC area. We rehearse weekly in Bethesda, Md., and gig monthly.
We’re looking for a talented first soprano and a baritone who can blend, keep time, and learn parts quickly. BlueLine is a semi-professional group so the position is unpaid. Sight-reading, conducting and arranging skills are especially welcome.
