Sponsorship Program Manager

CASA is seeking a Sponsorship Program Manager to join our team. The Sponsorship Program Manager is in charge of overseeing the overall CASA sponsorship program. Ideal candidate will have prior experience in soliciting sponsorships or sales and must possess strong relationship building, communication and organizational skills. This Sponsorship Program Manager reports to the Development Director. Potential for an incentive-based stipend.

Main Duties:

  • Solicit corporate sponsorships for CASA
  • Work with Development Director to establish sponsorship rates
  • Create outreach materials for prospective corporate sponsors
  • Work with festival staff to solicit corporate and in-kind sponsorships for CASA festivals
  • Maintain organized database of sponsors/outreach efforts
  • Ensure benefit fulfillment for all sponsors

Awards Team Positions

CASA is seeking to build up a team to support our awards programs (Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards, A Cappella Video Awards, and A Cappella Community Awards). We are looking for 1-2 people per program. Each position will report to the Awards Program Manager and the Director of Technology. Ideal candidates will have good communication skills, be very responsive, professional and self-motivated. Each of the awards team positions are volunteer positions.

  • CARA Nominations Manager
  • A Cappella Video Awards Administrative Manager
  • A Cappella Video Awards Nominations Manager
  • A Cappella Community Awards Administrative Manager

Job Duties Per Position

CARA/Video Awards Administrative Manager

  • Determine timeline (with deadlines) of the upcoming awards season
  • Field questions from general public regarding process, eligibility, etc.
  • Set up for the awards season in the awards app (create ‘competition’, awards, open submissions)
  • Coordinate with CASA communications team to promote and call for submissions
  • Review incoming submissions and confirm eligibility
  • Coordinate with Nominations Manager to make necessary nominator/judge assignments
  • Coordinate with the awards committee to review nomination/ranking data, break ties and create a final list of nominees
  • Coordinate with CASA communications team to announce nominees/winners
  • Coordinate with CASA events team to plan and execute live awards ceremony
  • Sit on awards committee

CARA/Video Awards Nominations Manager

  • Recruit nominators/judges
  • Review nominator/judge applications
  • Select nominators/judges and communicate with them about their selection and availability
  • Assign nominators to categories, confirm category assignments individually
  • Check in with nominators regularly throughout the nomination period, making sure we are on track to get enough nomination data for the awards committee
  • Assign judges to categories, confirm category assignments individually
  • Check in with judges regularly throughout the judging period, making sure we are on track to get enough ranking data for the awards committee
  • Support nominators and judges in completing their tasks, including fielding eligibility questions (work with administrative manager) and technical issues (work with Director of Technology)
  • Coordinate with the awards committee on creating a final list of winners
  • Profusely thank all nominators and judges
  • Sit on awards committee

ACAs Administrative Manager

  • Determine timeline (with deadlines) of the upcoming awards season
  • Set up nomination/voting forms and publish to the CASA membership
  • Coordinate with CASA communications team to promote
  • Review nominations with awards committee to determine nominee list
  • Review votes with awards committee to break any ties and determine winner list
  • Coordinate with CASA communications team to announce nominees/winners
  • Sit on awards committee
