Ambassador Program

Think globally. Act locally.” This is the mission statement of CASA’s Ambassador Program, an initiative designed to keep singers all across the country and world connected.

The needs of the a cappella community are growing. With virtually every college boasting at least one a cappella group, nearly every region boasting several professional and semi-professional groups, and new singers becoming interested in the vocal arts every day, there is now more than ever a need for a strong, consistent, and available aca-network. The aim of the Ambassador Program is to unite groups from all over the country, and eventually, the world under one umbrella of musical good will.  With the merging of the AACI and CASA and the launch of the brand new CASA.org, the Ambassador program is getting a bit of a jump start, and we want you to be involved!

So what does an Ambassador do? Ambassadors are responsible for being involved in their own a cappella communities- gathering information about groups, events, auditions, a cappella friendly clubs, singers, technology, opportunities and anything else that touches on a cappella. They upload that information to CASA.org via our Acapedia so we can share it with the entire community.

Ambassadors also keep abreast of a cappella happenings globally via CASA.org, and share that information with their respective communities while encouraging them to become CASA members, to sing in CAL groups, to attend CASA festivals, and to support the vocal arts.

CASA Ambassadors are honored volunteers, and the limits of their contributions are bounded only by imagination--- past Ambassadors have worked with CASA to produce concerts, radio shows, recordings, advertising, and of course to raise donations to CASA so that we can carry on our charitable missions.

In return for their work, CASA wants Ambassadors to know just how valuable they are. All Ambassadors are granted free paid CASA memberships, a free copy of BOCA annually for as long as they’re Ambassadors, and free entrance to all CASA festivals, including ECS and SoJam!

If you think you might be interested in helping CASA fulfill its mission to foster and promote a cappella and to help create harmony through harmony, then consider becoming a CASA Ambassador!
