"Ukrania - Ladies' Vocal Quintet" was founded in 2002. At the time Anastasiya Koleushko and other four girls was involved in an experiment by The Veryovka Ukrainian National Song and Dance Ensemble (Veryovka Choir). The experiment consisted in creating an original music program for ladies' vocal ensemble.

The result of this work might have been seen on 01 December 2002. The concert and outstanding performance of the Quintet attracted much public attention.

"Ukrania - Ladies' Vocal Quintet" is a cappella ensemble which formed original style owing to mix of the folk and academic vocal. The repertoire of the Quintet consists of many Ukrainian and Russian folk songs as well as songs of modern composers. Some of the songs performed by the "Ukrania" are arranged by Anastasiya Koleushko.

The Quintet was awarded the medal "For the achievements in development of culture and arts" (the award of Ministry of culture and arts of Ukraine) on November 14, 2003.

Now the members of the Quintet are Oksana Kobuk, Natalia Khomenko, Vanda Drinevska, Myroslava Shchokina and Anastasiya Koleushko as permanent leader.
