Pitch Slapped is Berklee's best and only a cappella group! Formed to rock and change lives through music, these guys and girls will stop at nothing to make sure audience faces are melted off.
Founded in Winter of 06, they've quickly begun to make a name for themselves around Berklee, as well in the Boston area.

The history of PitchSlapped so far is short. Spring of 2006, Cate Wright and Mary Dooley met in class, and over facebook discovered they both listed BOCA, as well as some well known collegiate a cappella groups under favorite music. After a series of messages regarding favorite recordings, when they started listening, and how shameful it was that Berklee didn't have a group, they motivated and began Pitch Slapped. Auditions were first held in the Fall of 06, with shows and performance opportunities quickly coming their way. Pitch Slapped has continued to entertain and delight audiences since the very beginning. While still a young group, they're headed in the right direction and ready to blow up in the a cappella world. Recently, Pitch Slapped competed in the ICCAs, winning the quarterfinals they were in (as well as Justin Bohr recieving Outstanding Soloist) and then placing 4th in the Semi Finals in March. They currently perform arond the Boston area and are working on recording a cd this spring.
