HomeBOSS 2013 Exclusive: Prep for The Sing-Off Season 4 with the Show's Producers

CASA Communications's picture

The announcement of the return of The Sing-Off is still making waves in the a cappella community, and we at CASA share that excitement.

CASA festivals, such as the second annual Boston Sings, aka BOSS (April 5-7, Boston, MA), have only grown in size and scale since competitive all-vocal music was elevated to prime time and the silver screen (Pitch Perfect).

The country's top talent— including some of the show’s alumni — come to BOSS to learn, to become inspired, and to push for innovation of the art form.

It is CASA’s goal to provide resources to our constituents and we know how important of an opportunity The Sing-Off may be to you and your groups. In light of the return of the show, we are offering the exclusive opportunity to prep for your big audition with Deke Sharon, The Sing-Off vocal producer, and Sam Weisman, executive producer of The Sing-Off. In addition, BOSS will offer workshops of interest to aspiring TSO competitors and fans, featuring musicians who have been on the show or behind the scenes, as well as consultations with TSO producers.

One week from today, we’ll accept all interested groups on a first-come, first-serve basis for private assessments with Sharon and Weisman.

Groups are expected to arrive with an audition-ready song (90 seconds) and should be prepared to share other material upon request.

Now is the time to firm up plans, to join or create that super group, and to buy your tickets to BOSS. Note: You (and your entire group) must have purchased all-access passes to BOSS to be eligible to meet with Sharon and Weisman.

Sign-ups for these assessments will open on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning Monday, March 25 on www.bostonsings.com. Visit our website on Monday for instructions on how to apply.
